The Discord game store first launched to just 50,000 Canadian users, but the feature has now officially launched in a global public beta capacity. Found on the popular chat app, the Discord game store, or simple Discord Store, is launching with 22 titles, including Team Cherry's 'Hollow Knight', 'Dead Cells', and 'Into The Breach.' Five of the titles available on the store will be labeled 'First on Discord' meaning Discord will be the primary distribution for these titles at launch.
This new service is a big step for the chat-focused application, but considering Discord's presence in the PC gaming sector, this should come as little surprise. Launching just three years ago, Discord already boasts 150 million users around the world.
