Dinesen Presented Dual Exhibitions at 3daysofdesign

Dinesen's dual exhibition for 3daysofdesign 2025 presented a compelling exploration of materiality and architectural philosophy through two distinct yet complementary showcases. Together, these exhibitions position Dinesen not merely as a flooring manufacturer but as a cultural institution actively shaping contemporary design discourse.

The House of ORBI exhibition revealed the experimental ethos of this interdisciplinary educational initiative as it displayed student works from summer architecture schools. These projects challenged conventional design paradigms through their engagement with natural landscapes and sustainable material practices. This exhibition offered insight into how Dinesen extends its wood craftsmanship expertise into architectural education in order to foster a new generations of designers.

Simultaneously, the White, Light, Wood collaboration with Blēo transformed the John Pawson-designed Dinesen Apartment into a meditative study of tonal nuance. This showcase spotlighted how 14 meticulously developed white hues interact with wooden surfaces and changing light conditions. This sensory exhibition demonstrated the profound architectural potential of restrained color palettes when applied to premium natural materials.
