The Dine and Dish Infographic discusses the way that food and social networks are a match made in growling stomach heaven.
The infographic was created as a joint effort between Column Five Media and Flowtown to show how the food and social media industries go hand in hand in today's market.
According to the chart, nearly half of all Americans use social sites in some way or another, from learning about food online to tweeting their meal to their followers during dinner. Millennials were among the age demographic most likely to multitask during a meal, whether it be texting and eating or updating their status.
Twenty-one per cent of survey respondents seek out recipe ideas and coupons for food or dining out online while 40% admitted to learning more about the culinary world from a website, app or blog.
