Hilton is expanding digital hotel rewards redemption with Pay with Points, a feature that lets eligible Hilton Honors members apply loyalty points toward hotel expenses directly through the company's mobile app. Unlike traditional redemption processes requiring front desk assistance, guests can review their bills, select available rewards, and complete checkout independently.
Initially available at 150 participating U.S. hotels, the feature supports Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Diamond Reserve members. Hilton expects to expand access to more than 800 properties by the end of 2026, followed by over 6,000 locations across the United States and Canada in early 2027.
For Hilton, integrating rewards into mobile checkout could encourage greater loyalty participation and repeat bookings. The added flexibility also gives travelers more opportunities to use accumulated points, strengthening the company's digital hospitality services while responding to changing customer preferences.
