Embedded Booking Flexibility

HTS Adds Optional Cancellation to Hotel Checkouts

HTS is bringing its Cancel for Any Reason solution directly into Aven Hospitality’s Booking Engine, allowing hotels to offer flexible cancellation as an optional checkout add-on. Guests can purchase the ability to cancel before check-in and receive up to 100% of their room cost back without hotels changing existing rates or cancellation policies. HTS automates the process by cancelling the reservation in the property management system, issuing the refund, and immediately making the room available for resale.

The integration turns booking flexibility into an additional digital product while minimizing operational work for hotel teams. For travelers, it provides greater control over refundability directly within the hotel’s booking journey. For participating hotels, the add-on can support direct-booking conversion, generate incremental revenue, and strengthen loyalty without requiring new internal processes. HTS also benefits by extending its travel fintech capabilities across Aven’s global hotel network.
