The future of fashion is digital and to support it, Parsons School of Design and Roblox collaborated on a digital fashion course. This course will teach students all about digital fashion design, as well as about creating hyper-realistic and inclusive outfits for the future of the internet and industry.
The 16-week fashion course for Parsons students begins in the Spring 2023 semester and they will even get the chance to create their own retail experience so that physical and digital apparel can be sold at Parsons and in the Roblox Avatar Marketplace.
The 2022 Metaverse Fashion Trend Report comes as part of this new collaboration between Roblox and Parsons School of Design and with it, Roblox found that Gen Z values digital clothing as much as physical garments.
