McDonald's is fundraising for its in-house charity, Ronald McDonald House Charity, in Sweden through the use of a digital auction. This auction will be held on the 'Auktionsverk' website based out of Stockholm, and the items auctioned will consist of digital video game 'skins' in 'Counter-Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO).'
These skins are virtual items that, when owned, offer the player the ability to change the visual look of certain elements in their game. Two parts that make these skins interesting are that each skin is unique, and that skins can be named by players earning skins a unique reputation.
