French company Parrot is best known for its drones, but the company is now releasing a high-tech new development kit that can be used to create drone attachments, robots and even personal computers.
Dubbed S.L.A.M.dunk, this particular development kit is equipped with the Robot Operating System framework as well as the Ubuntu operating system. It can be attached to a drone to be able to add to its functionality, while the fact that it comes with its very own computer peripheral ports allows it to be used for the purpose of building computers.
With its streamlined and highly versatile design, the S.L.A.M.dunk development kit is a great example of a self-contained technological product that offers a number of functionalities that will appeal to geeks, makers and tinkerers of different persuasions.
