This DIY project from the popular Design Mom blog are a fun and surprisingly easy project for young families. The frozen ice ornaments can be made to any color you desire and will make a magical decoration in your front yard in the cold winter months.

All you’ll need to create these fun winter accessories is some cheap plastic cups, food coloring and water, hanging cord, a stick, a cake pan and a screwdriver. To create a connected ice circle, you’ll need to freeze all of the six ice circles side by side in a cake tin. For the simpler option of individual ice ornaments, simply freeze the colored water in plastic cups, attach string and hang from branches in your garden.

This is an amazing project for children to get involved in during the cold winter months. Visit the Design Mom blog for more information on these cute accessories.
