Kalavaska was provided with a natural look here, one that would keep up with the earthy lighting scheme. This stemmed from the work of makeup artist Juan Romero. Romero applied light layers of mascara and an off-red lipstick, allowing Kalavaska's cosmetic appearances to mesh easily with not only the bright backdrop but also with the apparel, displayed to viewers via the puffy Spanish coat, plain back top and a salt and pepper scarf.
