Razer created a new version of the DeathAdder gaming mouse, which the company titled the 'DeathAdder V2.' The new gaming mouse costs $69.99 and it is currently available. The company states that the updated mouse has the highest sensor performance of any mouse available.
The updated design mostly features internal changes, including the addition of the Razer Focus+ Optical Sensor that has the ability to track 20,000 dots an inch. The new sensor system also has Smart Tracking capabilities, which drastically improves sensor performance for the mouse. Additionally, the DeathAdder V2 does not feature mechanical switches, and instead the mouse operates using infrared light beams. Infrared light beams have some advantages, including eliminating double clicks which could occur accidentally and this will improve gaming performance.
