Jonas Wood's Archive is Featured in the David Kordansky Gallery

The LA-based David Kordansky Gallery is featuring the work, both new and old, of Jonas Wood.

Wood's art brings new meaning to the phrase "larger than life." He takes mundane scenes from our everyday reality, and blows them up to enormous proportions. People are too quick to dismiss the familiar, the habitual, the prosaic. They fail to grasp the magic of the things we do everyday, whether it's watering our potted plants or watching NBA highlights.

To add to that, Wood's art explores parts of Western culture; more specifically, American culture, that we've been indoctrinated with since birth. He examines the things we do, and the things we like and the things we accept as being part of our identity.
