Reality Show Casualties

‘Dancing with the Stars' Injuries Continue (UPDATE)

The injuries keep adding up on the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ set; after being taken to the hospital last week for stomach pains, Julianne Hough has been diagnosed with endometriosis and will have her appendix removed.

Julianne Hough’s surgery is the latest of a string of injuries that have plagued ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestants all season long. Brooke Burke and Susan Lucci are each currently nursing foot injuries.

Earlier this year, Misty May-Treanor and Cristian de la Fuente also suffered debilitating injuries that spelled the end of their run on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’

While Julianne Hough vows to return to this season of ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ Edyta Sliwinska has been named her temporary replacement.
