Seattle, Washington artist Dan Reeder is a papier mache master. He specializes in papier mache dragons and monsters, but makes a variety of sculptures, including the blue hound dog shown in the gallery above.
Papier mache or the Americanized, paper mache is an environmentally-friendly art form because paper cast-offs can be used to construct the pieces. Recycling paper is good for the environment.
Reeder has written several books on the subject of paper mache, maintains a DIY blog and regularly posts ‘how to’ videos on YouTube.
