On top of being able to place and receive voice and video calls with the Amazon Echo Show, consumers now have the ability to get a daily news flash with the The Telegraph's Alexa Skill.
With The Telegraph Flash Briefing for the Echo Show, users are able to ask "Alexa, what's in the news?" in order to receive relevant updates. While there are several services that offer text-to-voice translations, The Telegraph Flash Briefing sets itself apart as all of the content shared is created expressly for the Echo Show to best optimize its capabilities. The news bulletins focus on five key stories that are selected for their interest to The Telegraph's audience.
As the device includes a colored touchscreen, there are images, text and graphics that accompany each piece of news.
