Rather than selling a small amount of ready-to-use curry by the jar, Woodland Foods is introducing a new range of dry curry starters at the Winter Fancy Food Show that only need the addition of water.
The just-add-water sauces are made with a base of sweet coconut milk powder and other traditional ingredients to make varieties such as: Goan Coconut Curry, Indonesian Rendang, Jamaican Coconut Curry, Thai Coconut Green Curry and Thai Coconut Red Curry. Some of the fragrant ingredients that can be found in the range include: lemongrass, green chiles, ginger and lime leaves.
As many consumers are now looking for globally inspired products to enhance their at-home meals, products like these curry starters are being favored for their authentic ingredient and ability to be quickly prepared.
