Pinterest is Launching a Curated Marketplace for Small Businesses

Pinterest will launch a curated marketplace to allow smaller businesses to sell products during the holidays. The curated marketplace is titled the @PintrestShop, and it will launch before Small Business Saturday, which takes place on November 30th.

Pinterest selected a total of 17 different small businesses to make up the @PintrestShop. The 17 businesses were selected due to craftsmanship and creativity. The list of businesses includes The Citizenry, which makes home goods, as well as the Yellow Owl Workshop, which creates eco-friendly jewelry.

Each of the businesses in @PintrestShop has about 20 different products for consumers to choose from.

The marketplace will allow Pinterest to showcase itself as a platform that empowers small businesses. Additionally, it could be popular among consumers who look to support small businesses during the holiday season.
