Fans of Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal will soon be able to purchase Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter, which captures the honey nut flavor of the breakfast cereal in a nut spread. For the creation of this new product, Kellogg's worked with Duerr's, a manufacturer that's known for its jams and nut butter spreads. As Sally Addenbrook, brand marketing manager at Duerr’s, describes: "We’ve effectively taken the iconic taste and much-loved crunch of Crunchy Nut and packed it into a jar of peanut butter. That’s as much as we are willing to say—the rest is top secret."
The peanut butter spread is said to have a super-smooth texture that's married with crunchy, honey-coated roasted peanuts to offer a familiar flavor experience based on the beloved cold cereal.
