Heavily Hopped IPAs

This Crisp IPA Featured Hop Additions During Both Brewing & Fermentation

Grey Sail Brewing, a well-regarded craft brewery located in Rhode Island, has launched a delicious and crisp IPA that is designed to be enjoyed in any and every summertime situation.

Named 'Adrift,' this crisp IPA makes use of hop varieties that are known to be a feature in many of Grey Sail's most popular offerings. This particular beer makes use of Mosaic and Cascade hops during the brewing process, while the fermentation element of the beer's creation saw the inclusion of bold amounts of Cashmere, Simcoe and Chinook hops. The end result is a beer that is unabashedly hoppy and features a combination of pine and citrus layers with a very subtle hint of caramel sweetness.

According to Rich Welsh, head brewer over at Grey Sail, “Adrift is a laid-back IPA – juicy with a touch of bitterness."
