CREATURE STARBOY Wearable Digital Pet Reacts to Faces and Gestures

The CREATURE STARBOY wearable digital pet is a small standalone device designed to function as a digital companion that can be clipped to a bag, purse, or carabiner. The CREATURE STARBOY wearable digital pet features a 400 × 400 OLED display running at 60 frames per second, showing more than 500 hand-animated expressions created by former Disney animators. These animations respond in real time to environmental input while a custom haptic “purring” engine provides tactile feedback that gives the device a pet-like personality.

The device contains sensors including a camera, microphone, temperature sensor, and accelerometer, powered by locally running AI models that allow it to recognize faces, react to up to 30 gestures, and respond to environmental conditions such as noise, heat, or movement. When multiple units meet, they can interact by exchanging visual traits, sharing personality data, and even transmitting firmware updates wirelessly.
