Mishmash Furniture Pieces

The Crate Series by Studio Makkink and Bey is Multifunctional

If you're looking for eclectic furniture pieces, I don't think you could get more eclectic than the Crate Series. Centered around the use of -- you guessed it -- crates, it is an experiment in multi-use cabinets, tables and more.

Designed by Studio Makkink and Bey, the Crate Series is set to showcase at London's Spring Projects in November. Inspired by a trip to India, Rianne Makkink saw that people used crates for various purposes such as houses, shops and workplaces. Working in a warehouse themselves, the Crate Series seemed like a natural extension from their own environment.
