The Instant Disc Audio Cp1 DEATH STRANDING 2 Model is a limited-edition wireless CD player created through a collaboration between Kojima Productions and Japanese audio brand km5. Based on km5's existing Cp1 player, the design features a translucent orange housing inspired by the BB Pod from Death Stranding, exposing the spinning disc and internal components during playback. The compact player supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, includes a Nixie tube-style LED display, and can be wall-mounted as part of its minimalist design.
The player operates for approximately seven to eight hours on a single charge and is designed for use with external speakers or headphones rather than an integrated speaker. Priced at 25,300 yen (approximately US$160), the limited-edition release became available on August 1, 2026, through km5 and the KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS × PARCO GAMES STRAND STORE in Tokyo.
