Collaborative Twitter Features

Twitter is Testing a New 'CoTweets' Feature in Certain Regions

Twitter announced a new 'CoTweets' feature is currently in testing. The feature allows users to collaborate on Tweets and Tweet threads with each collaborator cited as an author of the Tweet. This feature will be similar to Instagram's collaboration feature which allows for citing two authors of a post in the main title, rather than having to tag secondary users in the description.

According to Twitter, the CoTweets feature will allow users to "Showcase their contributions and engage with more people" as users seek new ways to drive engagement on the platform. The first testing regions for the CoTweets feature are Canada, the United States, and Korea. However, more regions and users will gain access to the feature over time.
