Côte&ciel Collaborates with Studio Orbe for a Stone Diffuser

Côte&ciel collaborated with Studio Orbe to produce a limited edition diffuser that helps in giving the brand an aromatic distinctiveness in addition to reinventing its creative vision. Burns was inspired by concepts about historic sites and rituals for this. Materiality was also vital to the manufacturing process, so the designer experimented with many possibilities for the base before deciding on a silicone cylinder.
The collaboration between Jobe Burns and Technicoflor came to fruition after the two designers discussed the route they wanted to take in terms of Cote&ciel’s current offerings. The sculpture and perfume set will be available for purchase on the Côte&ciel and Studio Orbe websites, but only 80 pieces will avaliable.
Florian Beetz, CEO at Côte&ciel, stated: “We were keen to see what [Jobe Burns] was developing via his new studio, and how we could collectively embark on a journey to bring our scent to life in a physical form.”
