Portable Contrast Therapy Systems

The Hyperice X 2 is a Significant Technological Advancement

Hyperice has launched the second iteration of its portable contrast therapy system. The Hyperice X 2 now integrates multi-level compression with its established hot and cold temperature delivery. Hyperice develops the new generation of its sports technology for the knee and shoulder. The devices take into consideration extensive feedback from professional athletes, as well.

Key technological improvements for Hyperice's portable contrast therapy system include a broader and more intense temperature range, which is now capable of reaching as low as 40°F and as high as 121°F, and a compression system that can apply up to 160mmHg of pressure. The latter feature is intended to enhance the depth of thermal penetration into muscle and joint tissue.

Hyperice X 2's design prioritizes user autonomy and convenience, featuring a cordless operation with extended battery life, an integrated OLED screen for manual control without a smartphone, and a lightweight, ambidextrous form factor that is compliant with airline travel regulations.
