In collaboration with Dims, Brooklyn-based practice Ladies & Gentlemen Studio releases a stunningly contemporary vanity table that is functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The piece boasts clean lines and a refined look that make it an ideal addition to the design-minded home interior. Dubbed 'Composed Vanity,' the silhouette is informed by the Shaker community. This is a sect of Christianity which practices celibacy, pacifism, egalitarianism, and communal living. Their beliefs were connected to "the concept of humility and living with intention." These features are communicated through the organized layout of the contemporary vanity table, which is "divided into flexible zones for organizing tools and tasks." In addition, the mirror is adjustable, as well as removable -- a feature that effortlessly suits the needs and preferences of the user.
