Connected Sneaker Silhouettes

KangaROOS and Worldbox Celebrate the Dynamic Aesthetic of the City

Renowned footwear brand KangaROOS teamed up with Warsaw-based Worldbox on the development of a connected sneaker silhouette that celebrates the dynamic environment of the city and the connectivity that is established through a never-sleeping urban landscape. Essentially, the Coil R1 'City Lights' is said to be "a special tribute to [...] human construction."

The connected sneaker model boasts a mixed-material upper with black suede that communicates elegance and a mesh fabric for breathability. With reference to the fast-paced city environment, the shoe displays a series of colored lines that intersect. This alludes to metropolitan landscapes at night and their incessant motion. The Coil R1 City Lights also has a premium leather lining and a responsive DynaCoil sole. Finally, the KangaROOS x Worldbox silhouette is completed with hints of dark orange and vibrant branding on the side panels.
