The Reese's Peanut Krispy Kreme Donuts Recreate the Chocolate Bar

Krispy Kreme has unveiled a new confectionary donut that is a hybrid of a chocolate bar and a fried pastry inspired by Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. The donut contains a mix of both desserts mashed up into one with a filled pastry topped with garnishes inspired by the candy bar. The dessert offers a merging of flavor in combination with unexpected textures and taste.

The donut is known as the Krispy Kreme Reese's Peanut Butter and it features a filled centre. Unlike the candy bar that has a solid filling of peanut butter, the donut version is much more smooth, creamy and liquid in texture. Another difference is that the chocolate hardshell cup exterior is replaced with a donut sponge equivalent and topped with chocolate, crushed peanuts and peanut butter chocolate chips.
