Bird-Inspired Plane Designs

Airbus Has Created a Hybrid-Powered Concept Airplane

Airbus has revealed its new concept airplane, which is titled the"Bird of Prey." The plane features four propellers and wings that are made to look like a bird. The body of the plane is a bronze color, with the tail of the plane having the colors of the British flag. Airbus has indicated that it will not mass produce its concept airplane.

The design incorporates a design philosophy called biomimicry, where designs are inspired by nature. This is why the wings were made to look like bird wings, as opposed to traditional thick wings.

The "Bird of Prey" plane was also designed for fuel efficiency and can use anywhere from 30-50% less fuel than conventional plane designs. The technology for the planes propulsion system is currently under development and could be implemented in future Airbus models.
