Commodore Launches Its Commodore 77 with an Cyberpunk 2077 Tie-In

Commodore and CD Projekt Red introduced the Commodore 77, a themed version of the Commodore 64 Ultimate designed to look like a relic from Night City. The limited-edition system features a distressed yellow case, graffiti-style details, custom boot graphics and other visual elements inspired by Cyberpunk 2077.

The package includes a demo that expands the game’s lore, a chiptune soundtrack by LukHash and an Arasaka-styled cartridge. Buyers also receive a custom neon power light, stickers, pins, collectible packaging and a spiral-bound user guide. Underneath the themed design, the system remains an FPGA-based Commodore 64 Ultimate with HDMI, USB and Wi-Fi support and compatibility with original C64 accessories.

For fans, the release combines retro computing nostalgia with licensed game-world design, offering a collectible hardware experience that extends Cyberpunk 2077 beyond the screen while tapping continued interest in modernized retro systems.
