Analogue Releases the 3d Prototype Consoles Inspired by Nintendo 64 Colors

— February 10, 2026 — Tech
The Analogue 3D Prototype Limited Edition consoles recreate a series of unreleased Nintendo 64 color concepts using transparent housings and modern FPGA-based hardware. The limited run includes five variants modeled after historical prototype finishes, including Extreme Green, Ocean, Ghost, Glacier, and Atomic Purple. Each console is built to play original Nintendo 64 cartridges without software emulation, preserving native performance while supporting contemporary display standards.

The consoles are based on Analogue’s 3D platform and feature precision-matched plastic shells developed to reflect the original prototype tones. Units are sold individually and paired with optional matching Bluetooth controllers produced in collaboration with 8BitDo. The Prototype Limited Edition consoles are priced at $299.99 USD each and are scheduled to go on sale February 9 through Analogue’s official channels, with shipping expected later in the year.
