The Vectrex Mini video game console has been designed as a modernized take on the retro tech product to help revive it for a whole new generation of gamers. The unit maintains a much more compact design over the original and is equipped with an OLED screen in place of the CRT display in the original. The gaming console will swap out the wired controller for wireless ones, while an also supporting HDMI connections to let users pair it with their larger TV, if desired.
The Vectrex Mini video game console will come with 12 pre-installed games and will be launched as part of a Kickstarter campaign in November. The system is expected to come in white and black color options.
