Finding college dining experiences that are healthy, cheap and easy to access can be one of the more difficult aspects of life as a post-secondary student and 'Tumvi' is aiming to make the process easier.
The startup offers 'BU Food' that is specific to Boston University students and now has a full app titled Tumvi.' It allows users to look through the app to find dining hall menus and nearby restaurants as well as facts about the nutrition values of the food. This allows for simple navigation through the world of college dining, without having to experiment as much with unhealthy foods simply because of a lack of information or choice.
This college food app makes the lives of students more convenient and aims to reduce the chances of the dreaded "Freshman 15."
