Featuring tech heavyweights such as Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates as well as celebrities like pop artist Will.i.am and basketball star Chris Bosh, it promotes computer programming classes in schools to get children familiar with the technical language that much sooner. Since the digital world is continuing to grow at an exponential rate, the Code.org video campaign shows how important it is to get new blood in the game.
The Code.org video campaign was directed by Lesley Chilcott, who is known for producing ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ and ‘Waiting for Superman.’ Describing it as a basic skill, the campaign focuses on the unmet demand for computer jobs.
