World renowned designer Karl Lagerfeld has contributed to V Magazine’s January/ February 2010 Size Issue. Despite his preference for "skinny models," Lagerfeld photographed burlesque dancer Miss Dirty Martini for Day 4 of the editorial entitled "Coco a Go-Go."

The shoot took place in Coco Chanel’s apartment and features the curvaceous Miss Dirty Martini in sheer tights, ruffly nipple covers and the model dripping in jewels. Oh, and plenty of cleavage of course!

Implications - Consumers in modern society are looking for more luxurious items to add to their everyday lives. Products that feature a more prestigious element appeal to those shoppers who desire an air of exclusivity. Companies could focus on this aspect when creating their items for the future.
