This cloud display was designed for 'The Festival des Arcitectures Vives' in Montpellier, France.
The clouds are suspended from the ceiling in various courtyards, on strings that almost appear as though they are invisible. Each has a bench, seat or stool placed under it where people attending the festival can sit down and pop their heads into these fluffy white orbs. The cloud display was designed to offer festival goers a unique and relaxing escape from their surroundings. Titled "Head in the Clouds,' this unusual installation puts a literal spin on the commonly used saying.
Not only does this installation provide comfort for those interacting with it, it also makes for excellent and somewhat surreal photographs that ultimately promote the festival.
