Farmer Boys is the latest brand to enter into the chicken sandwich wars with the debut of its new Classic Fried Chicken Sandwich. And for those who like their chicken with an extra kick, the chain is also introducing a new Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich.
Both of Farmer Boys' new chicken sandwiches start with an all-natural chicken breast that's free of hormones and antibiotics. The chicken is double-dipped in a batter seasoned with paprika, onion, and garlic, before it's fried until golden brown. The Classic Fried Chicken Sandwich also features mayo and pickles on a brioche bun, while the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich features a house-made Fiery Farmer’s Sauce on a brioche bun.
According to Farmer Boys, the new chicken sandwiches the farm-fresh taste the brand is known for, with a "nostalgic nod to homemade comfort food.”
