GLP-1 Companion Supplements

Clare Helps to Bridge the Nutrition Gap for GLP-1 Users

This summer, a new daily dietary supplement called Clare is launching to fill the nutrition gap for GLP-1 users by delivering 10 grams of protein, four grams of prebiotic fiber, and a blend of essential electrolytes and vitamins. Electrolytes, for example, are especially important for GLP-1 users as thirst cues are suppressed, and as a result, fatigue, headaches and dizziness are often blamed on the medication, rather than not hydrating properly.

Clare was born out of personal experience with GLP-1 side effects and nutritional deficiencies while at Harvard Business School, prompting Alden Dowdy to co-found the company with Hugh Perkins and William Cook. Touted as a daily companion for a GLP-1 journey, this all-in-one nutritional supplement comes in at just 60 calories, and makes the supplementation experience rewarding with a Crisp Lemon Ginger flavor.
