The integration of timber and metal into one vehicle might conjure images of old station wagons and other automobiles with less-than-streamlined appearances. The Citroen Origin couldn't be more different from this expected image, managing to own the modern mash-up of lacquered wood and sculpted steel.
The light lustrous body might make you wonder if Changwoo Shim had yacht design in mind when he came up with this futuristic concept car -- you'll see a ship pictured in one of the renderings. When viewed from above, the phrase "decked out" really rings true. Black bolt detailing around the hood, the cabin and the rear of the vehicle enhance the Citroen Origin's appearance of rooftop terraces. The crisp contoured armor below may have sought some inspiration from sandy beaches and the steady waves of the ocean.
