Designed to ensure the face of the watch is always easy to read, the Chronotechna utilizes the world's blackest pigment, known to absorb 99.9% of light shone at it. The decision to use this pigment on the watch ensures that the face can easily be read underwater or in a place where sunlight struggles to find its way through. The ultra black dial of the watch is contrasted by hands and markings painted in SuperLuminova to provide a deep contrast to the incredibly black dial.
Aside from its interesting use of pigments, the Chronotechna features a Marine-Grade 316L stainless steel construction and a sapphire-coated crystal cover on the top.
