CIGA Design works in collaboration with Label Noir to introduce the Blue Planet II Black Star edition. It is a striking timepiece that joins the roster of the Blue Planet collection, capturing themes of a cosmic perspective.
Straying away from the usual motifs inspired by the Earth, the Blue Planet II Black Star explores a deep space theme with a dial that looks like a black hole. The core of the design is the 8.5mm concave put complete in a Super Black pigment. This design absorbs about 99.6% of light to form a void-like visual effect. The surrounding patterns are complete in a CMYK gradient printing and a bright polar-star hand just above to show time.
