Quibi recently added Chromecast support for both iOS and Android users. The Quibi app is now compatible with Chromecast 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations, as well as Chromecast Ultra.
With the addition of Chromecast support, customers will now have the ability to play content on a larger screen. The added flexibility may help Quibi to attract more subscribers to the platform, as it was originally only intended for mobile viewing.
The recent function follows the company’s current direction, as it recently added support for Airplay. Adding Airplay support also allowed iOS users to play content on larger screens. In the future, Quibi could continue this direction by creating apps for Smart TVs, or other ways to make content available across more devices.
