Chris Chang's MAC Cosmetics Line Focuses on Chinese Traditions

Eccentric designer Chris Chang of Poesia recently teamed up with MAC Cosmetics to create a line of makeup products that capture the creative's whimsical designs that draw inspiration from customary Chinese traditions. The line features psychedelic packaging that references the designer's Asian heritage with bold colors and patterns.

The collection is inspired by vintage costumes popularized around the world and throughout various eras -- with a focus on Chinese tradition. The line features brightly pigmented eyeshadows, lipsticks and blushes in bold and unconventional hues such as neon yellow and teal. The packaging complements the bold use of color with antiquated collages of flowers, Asian artistry and bold blue lipstick bullets. The makeup wrapping is a work of art in its own right, complementing the aesthetic of the line and Chang's designs.
