Food blog Whisk Affair created this delicious beet and chickpea hummus recipe that when finished is served with a rosy tint that is a bright variation on the traditionally cream-colored dip. The dip contains a mixture of cooked chickpeas, garlic, Tahini, olive oil, lemon and spices that are blended together. Add freshly cooked beet root, cumin and chilli flakes for added flavor, color and spice. The end result is a striking pink root veggie hummus that is perfect to serve with pitas or chips.
