McDonald's is Testing a New Cherry Limeade Drink Made with Sprite

McDonald's recently began testing a new Cherry Limeade drink in select US states. While summer may be drawing to a close, McDonald's is taking advantage of the lingering warm weather by test out a refreshing new drink option.

McDonald's new Cherry Limeade drink is a cross between juice and soda that is served over ice. More specifically, the drink is made up of a blend of Sprite and cherry-lime concentrate and garnished with a slice of fresh lime. The drink is currently available at McDonald's locations in Missouri and Arkansas, where warmer climates create an ongoing demand for cold drinks into September.

While the chain has been making headlines for its brand-new pumpkin spice latte and other warm-weather beverages, the debut of Cherry Limeade demonstrates that McDonald's is still experimenting with its iced offerings.
