The 10th edition of the Chart Art Fair took place from August 26th until August 28th in Copenhagen, Denmark. This year, the event hosted five pavilions. One of them was called A Music Box and it boasted an interesting combination of natural materials.
The A Music Box pavilion was created by design collective Softspace Digital—a collaboration between Tessira Crawford and Dilara Özlü. While the pavilion acted both as a performance space and as a space for relaxation at the Chart Air Fair. In addition to its immersive character, the structure was composed of natural materials such as gelatin-based bioplastic, larch, and pine wood.
Through this Chart Art Fair pavilion, Softspace Digital aimed to "imagine a 'healthier' architectural future that exists in symbiosis with the environment."
