Mud Cloth-Crafted Sneakers

No.One Reworked Its Charlie Silhouette Using Indigo Vintage Cloths

Los Angeles-based footwear label No.One is recognized for its dedicated commitment in creating high-quality shoes, and its latest offering is a reworked Charlie silhouette. The label dials in on infusing traditional concepts with brand-new techniques in creating unique footwear pieces. No.One's all-new version of the Charlie sneakers is constructed from vintage indigo mud cloths that were sourced directly from Mali, Africa.

The fabric materials go through a woven process on a narrow strip loom, followed by a stitching job done by hand and finished with an indigo-dyed bath. The footwear label's signature three-layer Trinity Textile construction bolsters the vintage fabric to deliver support whilst matching up to its cultural design. The reworked Charlie silhouette will be available for purchase online at No.One beginning April 11th.
