Violife Ask Cheese Lovers to 'Change Your Cheese' to Change the Planet

Violife® vegan cheese will launch a new campaign in 2022 called "Change Your Cheese, Change Our Planet.". This campaign, alongside a new study, demonstrates how cheese lovers can reduce their climate impact by choosing vegan cheese instead of dairy cheese. The study examined two Violife non-dairy kinds of cheese, Violife Creamy Original Cream Cheese and Violife Feta Flavor Block. Compared to dairy cheese, these products have less than half the climate footprint and occupy less than one-third of the land.

“The food we eat contributes around 25% of the CO2 emitted globally each year. Violife wants to show consumers that what we eat can make a significant positive impact on our planet by simply changing your cheese to non-dairy cheese from dairy cheese,” said Erica Cheung, Senior Brand Manager of Violife.
