This Lavishly Gilded Phone Case Seeks to Honored Cecil the Lion

This 24 karat gold smartphone pays tribute to Cecil the lion who was recently hunted by poachers. To pay tribute to the glorious lion, this luxurious smartphone was made by Goldgenie.

The phone is completed with a flashy laser-engraved image of Cecil on the back of the phone. This limited-edition smartphone also contains the words “For Cecil and his Kingdom.” The all-gold phone is a beautiful tribute to the majestic beast.

Some of the monetary funds made from the HTC One M9 will be donated. About 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the 'Friends of Hwange' conservation charity in Zimbabwe. While Cecil is not the only lion to pass away at the hands of poachers, this lavish phone hopes to raise awareness of wildlife conservation in general.
