Cupcake Royale Just Unveiled CBD Buttercream Frosting Pints and Cupcakes

Earlier this week, the Seattle-based bakery Cupcake Royale unveiled a new CBD Buttercream Frosting that's been six years in the making.

As Cupcake Royale explained on its Facebook page, Founder Jody Hall has been working with edibles for several years. Now, after six years of trial and error, Hall has unveiled the brand's new CBD Buttercream Frosting—just in time for 4/20. The CBD Buttercream Frosting is available on top of cupcakes or in pints. Though the pints of frosting are branded with the saying "I can't believe its POT buttercream!," CBD is a legal, non-psychoactive cannabinoid. That means that the frosting will not give you a high, but it can help you relax.

The new CBD Buttercream Frosting Pints and Cupcakes are available in-stores and for pre-order through the Cupcake Royale site until April 30.
